не чересчур ли? как-то в текст не очень ложится, ты представь

хотя я вот "Жонглёра с тиграми" переводил - тоже несколько затруднился со сравнением фейерверка с ракетой SCUD, думал - это МКБР или "беспилотная ракета-мишень" :)

автор писал маленькими буквами - scud
